Live Rehearsals – How will they work?

All rehearsals will take place in an open-air/outdoor area. Our previous open-air rehearsals have been very successful and we look forward to delivering similar sessions for all Invidia groups. These sessions will serve as a stepping stone to returning to regular (normal) indoor rehearsals for all groups.

Places are limited so please only book one session per week. If there are still spaces available 24 hours before the rehearsal starts, you can book a place for an additional rehearsal.

For us to meet the legal criteria for an event like this, we must make every effort to minimize opportunities for the virus to spread. Therefore, please understand that the following steps have been taken:-
1) There will be no seating provided, though you are welcome to bring your own seat and take it away with you at the end.
2) There will be no access to toilets before or during the rehearsal. The venue has offered to open the bar and their facilities to members after the rehearsal, however, this is not part of the rehearsal and Invidia Voices will not be responsible for you if you choose to do this. The venue is licensed and adheres to Covid social distancing rules.
3) No sheet music will be provided by Invidia.
4) Places are extremely limited so please only book a space for yourself if you are certain that you can attend. Members who have not registered will be turned away.
5) During the rehearsal, all members will be spaced 2 meters apart. You will be able to hear each other and the backing track, although, you might need to sing a bit louder than usual.
6) You are not required to wear a mask during the rehearsal but you must wear one whilst entering and exiting the court.
7) You are not required to sanitize your hands upon entering/leaving the court as you will not be touching anything.
8) Plastic marker cones will be placed at 2m distances for you to stand by. Please follow the directions of your tutor (Matt) regarding where to stand.

For these rehearsals to be successful and safe, we will need your 100% co-operation. Please ensure you read, understand and follow the rules:-

1) Upon arrival, remain in your car until instructed by your tutor to make your way onto the court. Maintain a 2-meter distance from other members at all times.

2) Do not leave your car without wearing a face mask. You may remove your mask when in place on the singing area.

3) Before entering the singing areait is advised that you sanitize your hands. However, you will not be touching anything so this step is at your discretion.

4) As you enter the singing area, an Invidia Buddy will sign you in electronically. Please state your name as it will be hard to recognise you with a mask on.

5) As you enter, you will be directed to take your position on one of the markers. Please stand in your typical singing formation (a tutor will be on hand to help with this). Please remember this is a standing rehearsal and no seating is available.

6) Please remain on your spot throughout the rehearsal and avoid moving around unless absolutely necessary.

7) Upon leaving, you will be given clear instructions, please pay attention to this. You will be asked to leave in single file, one line at a time whilst maintaining the 2m social distancing rules.
